I am joining Kathleen at Faded Charm today for another White Wednesday.
Can you believe that this is number 89 for her????
Not for me however, because
it's been awhile since I have played along.
This week I went looking for whites in my home and studio that I hadn't already shown
here on my blog, and this is what I came up with.
My friend Suzan sent this pretty little gift a long time ago when we first met through blogging.
It came in a package crammed with beautiful things that she had made and that I have
shown here before.
I love the simplicity of it.
I have an inner battle going on constantly within myself over how I choose to decorate my spaces.
One of my personalities would love a home packed full of nic nacs...
and so many pictures and beautiful things hanging on the walls
that there would be no wall showing at all!
And then there is a part of me that needs a serene surrounding...
a calmness...
space to breath...
Having a studio apart from the house has satisfied a little of the struggle.
In the studio I cram as much visual stimulation into it as I can.
Having so much out and around me helps with the creative process.
It keeps my mind full of ideas and dreams of the next project.
I know I don't share a lot of the things I make here on my blog...and I am trying
to get braver about showing them off. In the future I hope to do a post or two
about the things I make for my home.
I'm not at all shy about sharing the great finds I unearth though,
like this beautiful old light fixture part I discovered on one of my hunts.
I have been making more of the collage tags that I showed earlier using the garment tags I save.
My husband thinks I am buying new clothes just to make the tags.
In truth,
I make the tags to lessen the guilt over buying so many new things for the closet!
(I say for the closet because my kids don't think I could possibly ever wear everything
that's in there) I don't get rid of anything))
Just a few of the thousand I'm working on.
I told you the closet was full!!!!!!
Hi June,
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see a post from you. I just love coming here to visit and seeing what beautiful creation you have made. As usual, you have so many lovelies to show. I love your soft and romantic photos. The tags are beautiful and please keep showing us all the things that you create. We bloggers can never get enough.
hugs
Sissie
Gorgeous photos! Love the tags - so pretty - totally justifies buying the new clothes;)
ReplyDeleteYour photos are so, so lovely! They have sent my heart all a flutter! :) I know what you mean about keeping things around for inspiration. I have been collecting antiques and flea market goodies for a few years now and I think it's high time to start my storage prop studio in my basement - my plan for the summer.. as I like to change things up, decorate and redecorate quite a bit. ;))My favorite photo is the one with the rolled up paper.. such an interesting and soul calming shot! Enjoy the rest of the week!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lara
Beautiful white post. Your tags are gorgeous and you photography is incredible. So love visiting. I am inspired every time I do. ~~Sherry~~
ReplyDeleteHello. I hope you show all the beautiful things you make. I love to see and I follow your blog.

ReplyDeleteHappy WW,
Judy
Hi June Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful share. I love these gorgeous tags that you have made. How elegant they are. I love the different textures most all. Love textures.
I really adored the white one with the lace and the hearts with buttons in the center. Then tied with string.
The tag that has the cloth rose on it? Did you make the rose you added to it? If so, do you have instructions? So sweet.
Thank you for taking me amongst the lace, linen, pearls and roses for a little stroll this morning. I have so enjoyed my visit here with you at Laughing With Angels sweet friend.
Many hugs and much love, Sherry
Wow girl, it looks like you found quite a bit of white. I need to do that one of these days. I know I have enough to make a post. I always enjoy seeing yours. You are pretty great at photography too. Your pictures look so dreamy and pretty. I am having a giveaway over at my Gloryfeathers blog if you are interested. Keep up the great work.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
Always thanks for sharing....and your pictures today are so soft & serene!

Your tags are gorgeous and so typical of all your beautiful creations. There are many cheerleaders out here for you.. RAH RAH!
love,
z
I always love visiting, June. You have some especially pretty whites today...I spent a little extra time staring at each lovely picture.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a studio but I would imagine that you wouldn't want everything tucked away, what would inspire you? And in a place you call your own, who do you have to tidy up for?!
Have a beautiful day, my friend!
XO,
Jane
Holy cats! You BETTER start showing more of your creations! What pretties!
ReplyDeletem ^..^
Ha ha ha..love it...it might b cheaper on ur budget if u buy some tags from the craft store and adorn them. They are soooo dreamy and amazing but i know sorting through the closet is such a pain...but then again...if u r anything like me...I m a clothes horse and the tags are the PERFECT excuse to shop.....:)
ReplyDeleteHi June:) Love your whites today. Your tags are beautiful! I would love to see what other things you have created. I just know they would be awesome:) Have a wonderful week.

ReplyDeleteHow can a post so full of activity be so peaceful?....but it's always that way when I drop by to read one of your posts. I think it's that you have the balance perfected.
ReplyDeleteOh, how well I know the struggle...stuff or no stuff?!
ReplyDeleteYour creations are beautiful...be brave...this is the most encouraging group of women I have ever *known*...

xo, Rosemary
Phenomenal woman...YOU ARE.
ReplyDeleteI always get excited when I see your name up on my blog roll. Funny about what you said in your post, I am going through that same kind of situation. Oh I love to have my collections out, BUT I do not want to clear around, near or even dust them, enough with the clutter so I am trying to pair down and clean so I can put some behind glass and not worry anymore about cleaning, spring is around the corner and I just do not have time for cleaning.
ReplyDeletePlease share more of your creativeness, I love the peak at the tags, they are adorable and I have a feeling we are going to be dazzeled if you would show us more. Please oh pretty please!
Well I hope you have a wonderful week.
Good evening June
ReplyDeleteYour creations are so lovely! You are like the energizer bunny and I am envious of your energy! Have a great rest of the week.
Hugs,
Wanda
Beautiful whites in your studio June. Hope all is well with you and your family and thanks for sharing with us today.
ReplyDeleteHave you been able to get out in your garden, or is it still covered in snow? I can't wait for warmer weather and flowers:)
Best wishes.
Kathleen
What a joy that was to look at all of your beautiful photos, June... they're stunning! Your creations are just lovely! A pleasure to visit... as always... :)
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Jo
Hi June, as always, your whites are just beautiful!... I just love those little tags you are making, and can't wait for you to show more of your crafts... I feel sort of like you... sometimes I want simple and sometimes I want to put out every knickknack I own!... thank goodness for crafts rooms where we can have both!... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeletePhotos are beautiful! Love all the white....so calming.
ReplyDeleteFor the closet...
ReplyDeleteHmmm, that a phrase
that I MUST remember,
June!! And I'm with
you...I'm a bit of a
split personality when
it comes to decorating...
Attracted to the full-up
style as well as the
minimalist. Keep sharing
your creations, friend!!
xx Suzanne
June, your creations are so pretty, I love the tags. And your photos are breathtaking. XO Martha
ReplyDeleteI love your tags, June, they're so pretty and different. And I love the lace piece it's gorgeous. I think the clutter won at my house. It's such a tiny little house that it's hard to be airy and simple, one thing comes in - another has to leave. I meant to give you credit on my blog about the roses but I did something wrong and just linked back to myself???!!! Diane
ReplyDeletePlease don't hide your beautiful creations, dear June! I love everything I have seen so far and would like to see more.
ReplyDeleteAll of your pictures have a wonderful romantic touch. Eye-candies for sure.
Hugs to you,
Julia
Hello dear June!
ReplyDeleteFinally I get around a bit more catching up on my blogging friends. I had a hard time keeping up with blogging since my mom got Chronical Leukemia last year but slowly we are all adjusting to the situation and gettig a bit normality back in life as far as this is possible.
Did I understand that right, that your studio has been shot for WWC too? If so I must say that you so deserve it. Your studio belonged to my 10 faves, along with Suzan's of course, from the last WWC party!
And I love your tags, they are very special and yes you should show more of your creations here on your blog!
Sending you warm Spring wishes from still freezing Northern Germany!
xoxo~ Carola
P.S. Can't wait to go back to gardening after this long and cold Winter and I'm sure so are you!
YOU TAKE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS OF WHITE, JUNE....what a treat...how are you? May you have a relaxing and blessed day dearest, Anita
ReplyDeletethose tags are so beautiful!! So gorgeous...I just love seeing your whites. Those buttons are so pretty..Have a great week!!
ReplyDeleteJune I just think your tags are so gorgeous, I love the one with the white rose and fleur-de-lis! They're especially cool because they are recycled. I don't seem to get many tags on new clothes I buy...maybe I need to stop shopping for my clothes at Target lol.
ReplyDelete♥Laura
Hi June...nice to see you again!
ReplyDeleteYour tags are just so wonderful ~ love how you layer beauty on beauty!
Sitting here recooping I am looking around wanting to change so much...Jim knows he is in trouble!
I try not to covet your studio..

Your tags are every thing ethereal. I love them! Your fist photo is so gorgeous with that petticoat and your amazing dried roses. I hope you're seeing sun these day and less snow.

Dear June, I don't know why you are shy to show off your creations. These tags are evidence enough that you are wonderfully creative and talented. Your home, studio and photos are all so beautiful. Also an indication of the beautiful person you are. Best wishes and blessings, Tammy
ReplyDeleteyou are so creative June...I like the image with the rosette and fleur de lis the best :)
ReplyDeleteand the first image of the roses in the background with the vintage tulle - that one is stunning -
xo+blessings,

Oh I love the picture of the white crochet doily with the vintage pearls. It makes me want to go home and wipe out my crochet hooks. I love how you inspired me. Sometimes I just need friends to kick start my creative brain. Thank you, and now I see a fun project coming. Oh by the way, I flip flop from covered wall, serene, to lots of color! Country, to cottage, to even rustic. Oh will this brain ever slow down! Hugs!!!
ReplyDeleteGirl, if there were AA for white- aholics or even shop aholics, you just made us all fall off the wagon. I drank up every single drop of your beautiful pictures and wonderfully adorned tags with no shame. And ya know what....I want to see more.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Becky

Your tags are gorgeous. Dang, you make the neatest stuff.
ReplyDeleteI wish my hubby would build me a "studio"......and I'd put in it all MY frilly, fluffy, and fancy things.
We did buy us a greenhouse last year though, and are looking forward to having fun with it and all our plants this spring..............IF spring ever comes.
Dear June, your pics make me always speechless, all these wonderful things.I really love your tags!!! You are so talented! Lovely weekend, Yvonne
ReplyDeleteJust popping in with a little hello to let you know I was thinking of you June...
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about having that inner battle as well. I so appreciate the calm serenity that the color white gives, but love the stimulation of color as well! So I mix some of each for a bit of both!
Hugs and good wishes,
Sherri:)
Hi June,
ReplyDeleteI can see you are on the mend and taking wonderful photos to cheer us up. I want to paint everything white, buy rose bushes, and play with lace, when I visit. Thank you for the inspirations..the great escape!

Somehow I think of you in whites and creams with pale pink too, I bet I'm right.
I'm definitely not a minimalist...you should see MY closet, ;)
Hugs for a happy Sunday June!

ReplyDeleteYou made my day, dear June!!! Thank youuuu for such heartwarming note!!
ReplyDeleteLove love your tags, they are wondrous! I love to keep and use them too. Aren't they amazingly sturdy and with such interesting shapes?
Monica xo
Everything here is so beautiful, June, whether simple and clean or filled with visual delights. Your wonderful eye and sense of aesthetics make either style work so well for you. I do know the struggle. I'm leaning more toward less out on display but just bought industrial shelving for my studio closet for my props which had escaped all over the house. :)

Lots of warm hugs to you my dear
Finally I am here June, we had a Spring break and my son went back to school yesterday, my daughter is still ill at home. Your photos are gorgeous as always, but I like your own designs most!!! You have so many talents, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour whites are gorgeous today, June. I love the red-topped jar of buttons! You always have such an eye!
ReplyDeleteHI dear JUne. Thank you for visiting me. I am getting better every day but still sleep a lot. This is a real bad flu.
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures of all your whites and hope to see a lot of what you make. I am sure we all love it. I love what you say about clothes for the closet. hihihi.I think many of us have the same problem. We have too much to ever wear. hihihi.
You won! You won! You Won! You are the winner of my latest giveaway. You won the three Paris Boxes plus a Paris themed surprise! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteDebbie
Lovely creations!
ReplyDeleteJune! You need to show us your creations! Your tags are gorgeous, I can just imagine what your other projects would be! I know what you mean about part of you wants the serene and the other wants the visual stimulation. I have a LOT in my sewing room too. (albeit not nearly as gorgeous as yours!)
ReplyDeleteJune, I love your tags. What a fabulous idea!! Don't fall over backwards from the shock, but it is me, Debby once of the Pink Birdhouse blog but now back with a new one to match a second Etsy shop I opened. After such a long silent period of no blogging, it is good to be back. My blog still needs lots of work, it is still such a baby, but it is coming along. I see that your photos are as STUNNING as ever, just gorgous, each and every one. I hope all is well with you, and I look forward to following you again. big hugs from afar, ~ME

ReplyDeletePRECIOSO.
SALUDOS
June those tags are so beautiful!! What a precious gift in itself one of those would be!
ReplyDeleteI have the same inner stuggle with decorating. There are so many beautiful ways to choose from-I love Elyse's blog "Cottage" with her cheery prints, your beautiful white spaces, Donna's Junk look which isn't junky at all....
It will be very interesting how this front guest room ends up looking. One thing that helps me a great deal is I am determined to not spend any money and use what I have.
bee blessed
