I thought I would make a little garland of them and hang from the fireplace.
Then I thought--oh heck---why not just cover the whole things in blooms!!!
My daughter and 'grands' are here this week and we have a lot of catching up to do.
I think it's going to be a GREAT week.
See you after they leave!

Such beautiful lilac June ..... lilac always reminds me of my childhood ..... we had lots of it in the garden and my mum would always pick it and bring it into the house. I have a couple of really old lilac trees { probably nearly 100 years old!!}but, they don't flower very well.....they are probably so old that they need taking out and new ones planted but I haven't the heart !!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week with your family....there's nothing like quality time with one's children and grandchildren. Much love. XXXX

hello beautiful lady. LOVE LILACS !!!! ours aren't even out yet. Our growing seasons up here are so slow and short. This will be MY FIRST attempt at growing a garden since moving here. We have BIG projects in the yard to do all spring/summer and fall. I'm too old for this kind of work.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little behind....my mom fell and broke her hip, so I went to stay with my sister to help (about 4 hr. drive from me) but mom passed away 3 days later. Very sad. So I haven't been home for awhile.
