About ten days ago I received an e-mail from Jo Packham with a PDF download
and she encouraged me to share it here on my blog and other social networking sites.
Me, being the most un-techy person you will ever meet and even the most un-caring
about being the most un-techy person, I had no idea how to convert it to my blog
and instead of google-ing it I decided instead to do things my own way and take
a couple of photos of the magazine and the feature to share here.
It's funny how seeing it in print makes me appreciate the studio even more than I already did.
To have a space of one's own to hold the things you love and to not have
them 'put away' every time at the end of your project is such a blessing that I never take for granted.
I think the only thing I would change about the day of the shoot was to have wiped the
dark floor after every step that the photographer and I took.
It was rainy that day and the studio is it's own building behind the house
and we tracked so much in with every step we made so the floor looks pretty
dirty in the photos.
It was such a privilege to have been included in this wonderful publication!!!
It is always a little nerve wracking to have to write about oneself and express
how much something like creating means to you, but I am so grateful to have
been given the opportunity to try.
The photos below are all my own shots of some of the things in the studio that I would
like to share here.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank Jo Packham for including me in the Spring 2014 issue.
It is always great to work with the staff from any of the Stampington publications.
They are helpful and supportive and I would particularly like to thank Brandy Shay
and Cynthia Levens for working to make this process easy for me.
I also want to thank all of you who have e-mailed or messaged me here and on FB
with your congratulations on the feature...you are all the best!!!
I'm taking a little trip with my daughters this weekend to Salt Lake City, Utah to go to the
So I will be away from my computer from Thurs-Sun,
but will catch up with all of you when I get back.
