You can feel it in the air.
Beautiful Autumn is on it's way bringing with it the last flush of roses.
Beautiful Autumn is on it's way bringing with it the last flush of roses.
The hydrangeas are all over the garden and look so pretty in white
with all the green around them.
Soon they will turn to their autumn hue, which is lovely too, but I really
love them in the stage they are in right now.
Fall roses are the best!
One couldn't ask for deeper richer color that comes with the cooler weather.
Sending you all roses today along with the hugs!
I agree with you that the Fall roses are the best. Ours bloom into November, sometimes even December and they are my favorite blooms. We are in a heatwave this week with 106 temps, so my roses are in full bloom. The tomatoes are abundant and turning red over night. I cannot keep up with our garden right now in this heat. As much as I cannot wait for rain and cool air, our garden is beautiful right now. Your blooms are magnificent. xo Kerrie
ReplyDeleteHugs to you, too, June! I can feel the changes coming here in Tennessee... autumn is almost here!
ReplyDeleteI just yesterday brought some fall roses indoors ~ not so flamboyant as spring or summer ones, but still gently beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWaving to the correct direction now!!!
And sending hugs that way, too.
So very beautiful June... glad you are enjoying nice weather... sorry I have not been around... our Tessy girl had been so very very sick, and we lost her to cancer two weeks ago... our hearts are broken, xoxo... Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteLovely roses nd photography, June. Blessings, Diane
ReplyDeleteSooo very beautiful, June. Your photos always take my breath away.
ReplyDeleteHugs from here
Oh dearest June ~ You are a gifted photographer. Your photos are so lovely and touch my heart.
ReplyDeleteEven way down here in tropical southeast FL I am getting 'hints' of fall in the air. I'll be so glad when it is finally here. I hope to get a lot accomplished outside during our cooler weather this year.
Your roses are so beautiful, as are your other flowers too, but roses are one of my favorite flowers and I never tire of seeing yours. I really loved the simple white roses with their yellow stamens. Those photos were just lovely.
Have a great weekend ~ FlowerLady
Dear June,
ReplyDeleteAlthough spring and summer are my favorite seasons, autumn is also wonderful. You made great pictures of the roses. I honestly hope for a beautiful late summer ... that would be great!
Wish you a wonderful weekend, enjoy the latest summer days of this year!
Hugs, Ingrid
June your garden, home and photographs are a visual feast. I adore the shot of the armchair, with lace hanging in the background. Just beautiful. Thankyou for sharing your gorgeousness with us all. Love, Mimi xxx
ReplyDeleteI love the feeling of Fall and I enjoy the last blooms of the season. I just can't wait for all the golds, reds, and brown.
ReplyDeleteOH these are so pretty, June! It's hydrangea time of year here...we have to pick soon, before frost!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like we were just welcoming all of the summertime blooms, and here we are thinking of fall already! I love the photos of your gorgeous flowers with the pure white backdrop...breathtaking!!

Oh my word, what beauty!
ReplyDeleteThank you for always letting my soul rest when I visit here - your beautiful photographs should be made into a huge coffee table picture book!
Hugs and blessings!
So much beauty in your flower shares photographed in your home that we just know as a blogger welcomes and embraces. We are experiencing a real Indian Summer this year and the flowers are a happy profusion of blooms but somehow I hear them whisper ... I'm tired, fall is approaching, go buy Mums and Pansies and let me rest.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post as you always share.
xoxo,
Vera
I just melt when I see your photos and their beauty-so in love!
ReplyDeleteI just melt when I see your photos-so in LOVE!
ReplyDeleteJune,
ReplyDeleteWhen I open my blog listing and see a post from you I get very happy. Your flowers are so beautiful - truly divine. Fall isn't my favourite time - it makes me sad to have to put the garden to bed. But thankfully we will have a bit more hot weather to enjoy the fullness of the garden. The hydrangea turning their pretty shades is the one thing that helps ease me in to the cooler temps.
Beautiful pictures as always. Thanks for sharing with us.
hugs
Katherine
You take the most beautiful photos but you have the best subjects!!! I so love your pretty roses and hydrangeas. I'm counting the days til mine are good for cutting. And I grew phlox for the first time...what a long lasting flower!
ReplyDeleteHope all is well with you and I want to say that I so appreciate your visits! ")

Beautiful pictures of the last of summer. I'm enjoying your gorgeous flowers very much. But I like the fall just as much. The sun is not shining so bright anymore, but with a lovely special glow.
ReplyDeleteYour roses seems to notice it too, because they present even brighter colors, to shine for the last time...
Have a lovely weekend!
Hugs, Peetje

ReplyDeleteroses roses roses- glorious
Your flowers are so gorgeous, June! You have a wonderful mixture in your garden with lots of soft shades and some brighter touches as well. I wish I could stick my nose right into the basket and get drunk by the smell of all those pretty flowers :).

Julia
Love youre beautiful pictures!!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely wekeend
All those beautiful flowers...pure joy!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely September!
When I saw the 3rd picture of white roses in the basket I laughed out loud - at myself! I had taken a huge breath as if to breathe in the scented air. Oh well, I can dream. That white pot full of pink and white roses is the most perfect pot of flower, ever. This is one picture that I will remember for a long time and to repeat myself, that pot is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThat basket full of flowers is so beautiful!!! How nice to have your garden that you can just wander into anytime you want:) We have our lanai also known as the place plants go to die...I have a couple of Cactus plants out there still hanging on to life just barely:( I struggle with growing things here in FL, not enough water/too much water, too hot...I give up!
ReplyDeleteBut I can always come here and walk vicariously in your gorgeous garden:)
AH-mazing. Your photography is truly stunning. I love the old fashioned looking roses in the white cache pot in the next to last photo. They are so unusual and pretty!
ReplyDeleteHappy (almost) autumn!
xo,
Ricki Jill
Always so dreamy. Too hot and humid here for much of anything at the moment. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful...

How right you are, fallen roses are the most beautiful and the beginning of September, still Summer, not yet Autumn, is so wonderful to me !

Have a blessed weekend ahead
With dear love

ReplyDeleteHello dear June,
ReplyDeleteoooh how I love the seasonal change. Autumn is my favorite season with all of the beautiful colors. The hydrangea is so pretty at the moment and this morning I looked at my roses and there are still some rose buds, hope they will bloom too.
Loved your beautiful pictures, can't stop looking again and again.
Hugs, Ingrid.
Just so beautiful June. It is true the roses of September seem to last longer, have deeper shades and wonderful scent. The hummingbird was visiting mine this morning.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are well and enjoying the fading light that accompanies the season of change.

Unas fotos preciosas y muy inspiradoras, como siempre.
ReplyDeleteUn saludo
How beautiful, it reminds me just how lovely gardens can be. The roses are simply scrumptious...and so well photographed for our pleasure. A big thank you!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a lot, but my fall roses have been lovely. My garden doesn't nearly have as much color as in June, but still there's just something beautiful about the fall garden. My Plox has finished blooming, but I do love it! Your photos are gorgeous!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Hi June its always beautiful over here any season of the year.
ReplyDeleteOur roses are still budding and blooming the graps have dried up in all our late summer heat. Yet while we still have days of what feels like summer we are taking advantage of weading and prepairing for the heart of winter my favorite time of year.
your roses in that white washed basket belongs in my front sitting room, its the perfect beauty that would liven up my space with fresh blooms. I have finally finished the armoire that now sits in my living room and in my new post, it to is washed in the whites and faint greys beckoning a backet of roses.
When I fisit you I often feel I have gone to London England the home of Cabbages and Roses, or Laura Ashley...Its the whites, the pale linens here, the florals that romance.
yes June you my dear inspire the beauty of faded florals prints, and romantic beds of roses.
see you soon.
looking forward to winter here and the beauty of the holidays.
xx

Hello sweet June, and thank you for your stunning photoes showing the last of your roses and other beauties in your garden for this summer. Here they are all over, and I have only dahlias left !!
ReplyDeleteIt seems your summer has been lovely and your garden grew wonderfully, --we missed the spring rain, so everything did not have a good start on summer, in Denmark !!
