It's a good idea to buy larger plants and plant them into pots - I think I will try this next spring!
Your garden photos are as always very beautiful and inspiring! And I think your garden would also fit very well to Ireland - where are so many wonderful gardens to visit. I'm sure your daughter told you about :o)
Oh, and during our trip we met MANY Americans who visited the land of their ancestors (we asked them and they told us...) I think without the Irish emigrants the USA, Canada and Australia would be populated much less ;o))
Lots of hugs and a wonderful new week,
Traude
http://rostrose.blogspot.co.at/2015/07/irland-reisebericht-dublin-on-bloomsday.htmlRostrosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15901976103765887360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6981415164270569467.post-30938603837761873412015-08-02T08:53:12.091-06:002015-08-02T08:53:12.091-06:00June, every time I visit I'm so inspired by yo...June, every time I visit I'm so inspired by your garden and photos. I've been feeling a bit gloomy along with this M.E.and other complications of that illness the past few weeks. So your words brought me over here to your doorstep and ALL my very favorite flowers. Flowers are such life-savers.... and even though my gardens are all now overgrown and untidy my husband always makes sure I have an abundance of flowers to feast my eyes upon and to cheer me. All the flowers in your gardens are my absolute favorites! The wonderful pale lilac of scabiosa and palest blue delphinium and the wonder of foxgloves!
It's simply wonderful how your lovely photographs delight ALL of us blogging-friends, it re-affirms how alike we all can be even though we all are living in differing areas of the world. Your wonderful flowers and home fill our hearts.
I feel thankful so thankful to have come upon your words today, you have tugged at that thread you mentioned and I send love back to you dear June.
Hugs Jane xHalf-heard in the Stillnesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01840301617199033576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6981415164270569467.post-11743755436494207572015-07-30T19:58:53.136-06:002015-07-30T19:58:53.136-06:00Oh my gosh - what an old fashioned cottage garden ...Oh my gosh - what an old fashioned cottage garden you have!
