but I do garden. That can make you sweat. All you gardeners know that. I love to make things grow. My son takes a lot of care so I don't work anymore. Sometimes I really miss the regular contact with people, but I love the time I spend with my son more. Because I'm home I need something to help fill the time and yet be something that I love. Gardening is that love. It's almost spiritual for me. I feel things very deeply in the garden. I think deep thoughts in the garden. I form friendships in the garden. Landon also loves the time he spends in the garden. I think he feels deeply, thinks deeply and forms friendships there as well. Hope you enjoy the pics of our garden.
I love the pictures of the garden, is it really yours?? Cause it looks like pictures from a garden magazine..:-)

june- your garden is amazing as always and i miss being able to drive down the road and seeing it. i have yet to see a garden as beautiful as yours. i hope you and your family are doing well. i miss seeing your smiling face at adamsons every day.. jenny mccann
ReplyDeleteof course i remember you! certainly not a person i could ever forget! and by the way your not that old, i keep telling my parents that too. sunny florida has its perks but the summers here are so unpredictable. one year it rains every day at 3 pm like clockwork and another year it hardly rains at all and then im praying for rain. certainly makes planting flowers a challenge, then again growing flowers has always been a challenge for me. lol was not blessed with a green thumb like you and my grandpa....lol....
ReplyDeleteYour garden is lovely. I love the flowers and birds in the garden but I leave the gardening part to my husband as I tend to kill plants. I am very good at pulling weeds though:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your nice comment on my blog. Your garden looks amazing! I know what you mean about feeling spiritual in your garden. It is my sanctuary! I love your blog and have added you to my favorites. Take care and happy gardening.

Oh June, your garden is absolutely beautiful! What a lovely place to be in, both for you and for your son. And I totally agree with you about the way you feel about gardens and gardening. I just wish we here in Norway did get a few more months to enjoy it all (snow is still very much the dominant feature in my garden).
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely comment in my blog. It was a pleasure to read, just as it has been a pleasure to visit you pretty blog.
