Not enough for an omelet...

I just got two pretty little white finches a couple of months ago. I am really enjoying their company. One is Lizzy and the other is Mr. Darcy of course. My dog T.T. Rabbit hasn't any use for them. When I first brought them home I was sure he was going to find a way to give them a heart attack. Now he hardly notices them. I've never been a bird owner before so when they started surprising me with these little gifts I wasn't sure what to do. I bought a nest for them at the pet store but Lizzy evidently has no use for a family yet because she refuses to set. That's ok because I'm not ready either.

  4. Your finches are wonderful, I have never seen white ones before! And how wonderful that the female is laying eggs! you are right, they would be too tiny for an omelette! But you are welcome to come on over to my house and share an omelette made with our chicken's fresh eggs! :-) What a nice story to share with us all. wishing you a great day, Debby
