Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day friends!
I hope you are filling up on your share of chocolates
and heart shaped sugar cookies :)))
(I wonder if the sugar cookie thing is something that just we Americans do :)
They've always been a favorite of mine.

I bought myself a little five dollar bouquet of roses at the market the other day
and of course I had to get a few pics for February 14.
Flowers have the power to cheer us and lift our spirits, and after a few
gloomy grey days, I was needing a little lift.

The last time I visited one of my daughter's I was able to take this chippy bench
off her hands since she is changing up her bedroom to a totally different style.
Yay for me!
I needed a little something here at the foot of the bed because our little dog T.T. Rabbit
isn't able to jump up here anymore do to his age.
Now, he just hops up here and onto the bed.

BUT,
somehow he manages to still do this :)

So the little five dollar bouquet made it around the house and gave me a few snaps
to share for the day.

it's also a good day to share a little bleeding heart from summer

I have to show yo what my dear neighbor gave me for
Valentine's Day
She and I love anything Greengate and Maileg and so she gifted me
with the lovely towel and cake stand from Greengate,
and the cupids are Maileg.
Of course my husband liked the cookies from Harry and David best!

I wish you all a lovely Valentine's Day!
Hugs from me

So beautiful roses, and the little bench is wonderful. We had a little yourkshire terrier once, and she couldn't jump in the bed either, so my husband made a little ladder for her. But your bench is great too, and your dog is so cute.
I really love your blog and beautiful pictures

I wish you a wonderful day

I love seeing glimpse into your beautiful home June...T.T. Rabbit is so adorable!
Our little Sweetpea is fourteen this year so he is slowing down quite a bit these past few years.
Sending love from our home to yours...

Such a beautiful $5 bouquet of precious pink roses to celebrate Valentine's Day. Loved seeing them all over your beautiful home. Glad your doggie still knows how to jump up to get on the bed. You always have the prettiest flowers online ever. I haven't bought myself roses in a few months. Maybe now that the higher prices are over, I'll buy some for photos. And clean my house to move around and take some photos around my home.

Happy Valentine's Day

Hi June,
Well aren't you the lucky one to take that bench off her hands!!! Looks good with all that pretty blue paint and chippiness. The roses just make everything look so much pretty and more significant. As usual, I love your beautiful, peaceful photos.
Hope you had a lovely Valentine's Day.

I read your post yesterday and was going to comment. But can you believe I was lost for words. So this evening I re-read your blog and still lost for words. Recently you have been on my mind. I wonder how you are doing, wonder how Landon is doing, wonder how all the grands are doing and I wonder how a person can come into your life for just a day and make such an impression! I'm going to call it a gift and enjoy each and every post I read, enjoy the photos, and enjoy the warm fuzzy feeling I get! Thank you sweet one for my present in life!

T. T. Rabbit is so cute. I hate to see them get old as with Rascal. The roses are a beautiful color. I'm glad you had a good Valentine's day and isn't it nice to have friends/neighbors who share some of the same loves you do? I think that makes life so special. Diane

Lovely June. You certainly got your moneys worth with this lovely bouquet and knowing you, you will probably dry the roses and give us another visual feast with the results. All so pretty.

The bouquet of roses is just the most beautiful colour! As I write I am looking at the roses the Great Dane gave me earlier this week. Do you know the American Beauty Rose? These remind me of that wonderful colour. As always, your photos are a treat. I hope the roses did the trick and raised your spirits.

Hello June,

It's been a while since I visited. I am mostly on Instagram these days. But I am so glad I stopped by today. Your photos are truly book and magazine quality.

Each one stunning. You truly know how to speak to my heart. Your roses are spectacular and your gorgeous pooch is regal. What a beauty.

Hi June,
Your post is so beautiful. I was thinking of ways to gather more positive people in my life to balance out the adversity right now. I found Rue's blog again, and then another and all of a sudden I had my answer. Go back to blogging again and visiting all the wonderful blogs, like yours. June, have you ever published a book with your amazing work? I know that you have been featured in magazines. Your staging and photography is so gorgeous.

Well have a beautiful evening. See you on Instagram.

Hello, June! I hope all is well with you and yours. I'm in desperate need of gardening inspirations, so my first thought was to stop by your blog. I had to stop blogging for a couple of months due to family health issues and life getting too busy for fun!

Thinking of you, and God bless!

Truly love these Valentine’s Day flowers a lot. All other photos are soothing and giving relaxation to my mind. For me, it is the most enjoyable day of entire year and I like to spend it with all my loved ones. Last year we celebrated Valentine’s Day at the best rooftop LA venue. It is truly an unforgettable evening!
