Beautiful Earth...

Don't you think the Lord must have had a wonderful time creating this beautiful earth? When I think about all the lovely plants and flowers. All the amazing animals and creeping things. The beautiful people, all shapes, sizes, creeds, and colors. I can hardly take it all in. My heart is not big enough to express the joy that living in such a world brings me. I am in awe today at the beauty of the earth. Many things to be thankful for today.

I've been working in my garden and loving every minute of it. I have so much work to do in it, that sometimes I try to run faster than I have strength. I have to remind myself that there is always tomorrow. I am planting my vegetables today. In my part of Idaho, we typically don't plant until June 1st. I may be sorry, but they are going in today. I will have to keep the frost- cloth handy.

I hope you enjoy some of the things blooming in the garden today.

June, I not only love the pillows but that wrought iron bench they are sitting on! It would go delightfully well with that old gate I found the other day, as the design is similar in both! LOVE the pictures!! Those dogwoods, I could just sit here all day and look at that picture, I love them so much. Mom planted a tree in the yard just for me years ago and my family always called it "Debby's dogwood". I know just how you feel about being so filled up with love and gratitude that you live in the world so filled with beauty. Could it be our age, do you think, cuz so many times anymore when i see a lovely sky or a rainbow, or the laughter on my children's faces as they sit together to talk and laugh, I can not help but cry. "Oh Mommmm", is what I always hear good naturedly, but they know that I am quick to get teary-eyed at the least bit of happiness and beauty in this world. Life is good, and God sure did know what he was doing when he not only put all those beautiful things into our world, but gave us eyes and HEARTS and souls to see it all with!! Enjoy your lovelies, I sure did, so thanks for sharing with us all. hugs, Debby (and thanks for all the lovely comments on my posts of late, you know how much I love it when you have been by to visit!!)

It is amazing to think about our earth and God.
It is considered His footstool and yet He has made even the tiniest blossom a thing of beauty.
He Is GOOD

God and Earth. They belong together!

When I dig in the dirt I feel Him.

When I breathe in the sky, I smell Him.

When I swim in the ocean, He surrounds me.

When I walk on the sand, He carries me.

When I pray for His help, He listens.

When I long for His presence, He overwhelms me.

When I ask for a forgiveness, He loves me.

What a beautiful post, June. Love all the gorgeous blossoms. So what vegetables are you planting? Can't wait to see. All we have planted so far are tomatoes and I ask my husband almost everyday "have you seen the plants?" Can't wait to actually get some fruit later this Summer. Have fun planting!

There something absolutely breathtaking about this time of year. It's not just the colors that come out to greet us but the smells changing as well. The dew in the morning, bbq's in the afternoon and the smell of baby shampoo on clean kids at night.

I love God's days!

Okay June, I'm covering my face with my hands in shame. Here I am posting about how I hate yard work, hate bugs, dislike the sun...and here you go making everything just look so peachy pretty. I AM SO JEALOUS...how do you do it???
When I grow up, I want to be just like you!!! ;)
You made me realize that I don't really "hate" those things above...I just don't enjoy them as much as some do but...I DO enjoy the beauty that God has created and those like YOU who continue to nurture it :)

Have I told you lately how much of an inspiration you are to me?????
Simply beautiful...

Hello June, The snapshots of the flowery trees are pretty. I would love to have that all in my yard. And yes I thank the Lord every day for the beauty he has given us here on earth.. It is so amazing! What he did for us here on earth, I can't even imagine what heaven would be like.

The bench with the pillows on it is so romantic. I have a couple of pillows with the same print like your first one. Mine are all outside too on a bench. Nothing like dressing up space in a yard..

See Ya Soon- hugs,
