Tulips and honey-dos

My tulips are blooming. I thought I would show you a couple of my favorites. These are later bloomers than some I have in my garden. The daffs have all faded now and it's time for the the tulips to shine. I love the pink one. It makes a very sweet bouquet. The creamy white ones are 24" tall. I love the the way they command attention in this bed. Tulips are iffy here in my space because I have a lot of voles that love to munch on them in winter. I don't plant many because they are expensive and some years I've lost almost half to those icky little critters.

My family have been here visiting this week. Season and her husband and five children, Ember and her little boy, Ellis, and Haylee and her little one Maddie. A houseful for sure. It's nice to have all seven of the grandbabies about. Season's husband, Beau has been doing all kinds of 'honey-dos' for me. The ones that Hubs has been putting off. Beau is too sweet to say no, and Hubs loves it. Things are starting to look good around here. I wish Beau and Season could stay till the list is done. Someone else wishes it even more than me.

Have a wonderful Memorial weekend!

Oh my, thank you for letting me tip toe through your tulips! It was a wonderful trip!

Now, let's get down to business again June.

I know that with all that family there, they are making a mess. When they leave, you will need someone to clean it...hint hint!

Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend with your family~

June, HI! I was sitting here wondering who your visitors were and how your time went, now I know! So you had your house full of delightful grand babies and daughters with hubbies! I can not picture life being any sweeter then that. Loud to be sure, but honey-sweet with their voices filling the air and their hair all a-tossle when they wake up in the mornings. For me, mornings with visitors is the sweetest time of day! There is something fantastic about waking up knowing that someone else is in the house to spend the day with.

Love your tulips, agian your photos are just terrific. I LOVE that pink one! I wish I had a whole garden full of them, now THAT would be something to wake up to!!

My family-event weekend was just perfect, everything falling into place very nicely and turning out better then even I had hoped for. My sister being here was the sweet icing on the cake, making everythign seem just wonderful. Our time together was short, but we did not part from each other's side the whole time she was here, and on Monday we spent the entire day together just out and about town, shopping, eating out, sight seeing, snapping pictures, and laughing together as only 2 sisters can! I would not have changed one moment and make it any different, it was that great.

thanks for stopping by the blog and leaving comment on my first Friday town shoot-out. I had some fun with it! Take care, thinking of you, Debby

Your tulips are mesmerizing June........simply beautiful!!!
Did you say seven grand kiddo's??? I'd love that (as long as I had a big ole bottle of vino to go with it that is, lol).
Hope your holiday is filled with love, joy and laughter. Sounds like it will be :)

Dear JunieGirl,

I love pink tuplips...I just wish they'd last longer than they do.

My SILaw comes and rakes up leaves every fall. We have 20 trees so there are a gazillion times ten. I love honey-dos...even when they pass down to the next generation of MEN! :)

xoxox to your girl girl...

I love tulips. I am not a gardener and don't have any in my yard. There are a few houses that I pass on my walks in Coronado that do and I always take the time to stop and sniff. Daffodils and tulips are just not the same here since we have flowers blooming all year long. Still, they are pretty and your pictures are lovely!
