White Wednesday in the garden, in the studio, and in the house.

I thought that for this White Wednesday we would start out in the garden.

Below, the serviceberry tree is a mass of blooms as well.

front yard

The blooms on the serviceberry don't last very long, but are so beautiful.

Here is the little bird again. I found him last week at a nursery where I buy most of my plants
for the garden. They always have wonderful things for the home as well.
This particular nursery also stocks the most beautiful ribbon.
I love that they stock some lovely colors
 of velvet ribbon.

This concrete angel plaque was at TJ Maxx for $9.99 a couple of weeks ago. It is sitting in the
studio right now waiting to see where it will end up for good.

Today I was able to hang curtains on the big window in studio. Just simple lace panels.
Something that will allow a lot of light in.

This little gravy boat was found last month at a thrift store for $3.
I planted some stock in it for the moment, but I can think of a hundred uses for it here in the studio,
and none of them include gravy.

I also found some white in the house to photograph for this Wednesday.

My white linen slipped chair holds some tulips from the garden.

I picked them this morning...

They are sitting atop some of my favorite books on decorating with white.

Filled with so many beautiful pictures of white rooms.

I go through them over and over.

There is more beautiful white goodness waiting for you at Faded Charm.
Pop on over for the links to some beautiful blogs showing their whites today.

I wanted to thank you all for your well wishes for Landon. In my previous post
I mentioned that Landon had been sick and you were all wonderful to wish him well.
I appreciate it so much. He is totally back to his sweet little self, for which I am
so grateful.

Oh June,
Can I just come dream over at your home? I had to ask ;) it's so lovely and serene. Your little ceramic birdy is chippy cuteness for sure and a cheerful sight wherever he ends up. Hmmm... I may drive over to TJ Maxx and see what they have in store this week with my daughter. Thanks for the idea and all the beauty you share here for us. Good to hear Landon is back to his sweet self!

With all the stunning photos you take in your fabulous home and garden you could very well fill up a book about white interior yourself. Have you ever thought of publishing one?

I love your blog. It is so beautiful. But now you've done it by posting pictures of serviceberries and chokecherries and I must comment and make myself known.
I don't remember actually ever seeing serviceberries and chokecherries, but I must tell you where your picture has taken me.
I spent my first seven years of life in StarValley, Wyoming. We had a farm in Bedford. Your photos remind me of my mother mentioning those berries every once in awhile. She said they were good, but when I tasted the chokecherry, I knew where they got their name. They were very sour and I didn't like them a bit. Basically, I haven't heard much about them, ever. I wasn't even sure if there really was such plants. But you have proven them, after all these nearly sixty years in your very delightful post. I just wanted to let you know, you have a new fan who stops by frequently. Yours, sincerly, mudderbear

Hi June, your home and property are so lovely! What a beautiful place to be. I'm thinking I wouldn't venture out very much if I lived in a space like that. :) Glad to hear that your son is well after his illness. I read about Rose's daughter on Dawn's blog last week and was so sad to hear of the accident. As for posting, I always write above the photos -- doesn't make sense the other way. You talk about something and then show the photo of what you are talking about. Right???!! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Many blessings, Tammy

Hi June Dear!!!

Girl, I missed your last three posts and my heart sank when I read that Landon was sick. I'm so happy to hear he is doing well and your heart is at ease now. However, I am saddened to hear about Rose's daughter. I was wondering why she hadn't posted lately, I was thinking she was on vacation...never had an idea that she was having a terrible time. Thank you for sharing that as I will pop over and let her know that she & her family are in my thoughts.

For the umpteenth time...I just want to escape to your garden June...it's gorgeous. I'm really not a flower/garden person but yours is so inviting.

I hope that you are able to spend lots of time in it over this long holiday weekend...whatever you do, I hope you are having fun.

Love ya!

Thanks for your sweet welcome back message June, people like you make me feel so happy to be back.
Have a great weekend with your family, hugs LiLi
