Our very white Farm Chick goods...and a few garden blooms...

This post may get a little long, as I have a lot of photos to share today.
I thought I would disclose what was in the back of Lisa's car after spending the day at the Farm Chick show.
But before I do, I thought I would make you suffer through some of my blooms from the garden.

Can you believe I still have tulips blooming in the garden?

bleeding heart

lily of the valley

I brought a huge bouquet of the 'Avalanche' lilac in today...and the house smells soooo good.

This pink wooden box is one of my finds at Farm Chicks.
The perfect container for an arm load of lilacs.

I know it will come in handy when it comes to the garden. I haven't decided yet if I will
plant it up or leave it for cut flowers.

It is just the perfect shade of pink for me.

Before I left for Farm Chicks, I took my trusty wicker shopping cart and foofed it up a bit.
I almost didn't take it with me, because I was afraid it would take up too much space in the
car, and limit what room we would need to bring home the goods.
I was so glad I took it. What a life saver it was. It held my purse and my camera, and anything
else I could cram in it. (like my diet coke)

When we got out of the show, we decides to unpack all that we bought so that each of us could see what
the other had bought. We separated at the door and raced each other to the treasures so we didn't see
much of what the other had bought...except my stuff that is, because mine were a little
hard to miss. I like BIG and HEAVY.
I had to borrow a wagon to bring mine out to the car.

When we laid everything out, it was funny how all of our stuff looked alike.
As if it was all going in the same house. Lisa, Michelle, and I have very similar tastes
and it showed in the goods that we all brought home.

Here is a sampling of what Michelle bought...

Is she lucky she beat me to some of this!!!

Michelle lives the majority of the year in Maui, so she bought things that she could send back
to Hawaii to furnish her place there. She is also decorating a friend's
daughter's room, thus the sweet pink things in her pile.

Now onto to LISA'S loot...

I was trying to figure out a way to lose Lisa on the trip home so
I could hijack her 'stuff'. (insert evil laugh here)

Lisa bought a cart at the show and you can see it in the back ground.
I loved the stamped PARIS linen lining.

Don't you think it looks like it all should have come to my house?

I loved this little green tool box she found.
LOVED IT!!!

now for JUNE"S junk...

It was all about the iron!!! And rust!!! And chippy wood!!!
I don't know what this iron thingy is...but I know what it will become.

I found this little rusty light in Heather Bullard's booth. I found a lot of great stuff in her space.
I forgot to take a picture of a rusty bathtub foot that I bought from her that will become
a doorstop for my front door. This light will be going to 'The Shack' in the woods. I have been looking
for just the right fixture to hang there and this fits the bill.

I also found this great old light fixture for the hall in the house. I'm not sure that I will keep the hobnail
shades or not. I may look for something else, but for now they will stay.

This awesome mirror was at The Blue Canoe. I had to have it, and now it hangs in my living room.
I loved these guys. Their space was gorgeous!

Here's a view of the top of it. It goes so well in this room. I haven't hung it yet...but soon.

This little coat rack was just exactly what I was looking for to put in the studio.

A little finial from Heather's booth and another rusty piece of iron.
One thng that didn't photogragh well in the pictures above, was the column
that I found. It is in the living room and I will get some photos taken soon so I can show
it in a following post.

And last, but not least...

I still haven't shared all that I want to from my trip to Farm Chicks, but this post is so long now,
the rest will have to wait for another day.
Thank you to Kathleen at Faded Charm for hosting White Wednesday week after week.
You find a list of many bloggers sharing beautiful whites today. So much inspiration to find there.

What a lot of fun you must have had! It's funny that you all bought such similar things - but then you're friends and it makes sense that you might share a taste for a certain look. I'll be you'll have a good time deciding where everything will go.

June, I'm so glad that the car didn't break down with all those heavy iron you bought, lol. You really went for large and weighty pieces and everything is just awesome! Your friends did great too. No wonder you had thought about hijacking their stuff. I guess Lisa can be happy that you didn't abandon her somewhere in the woods ;-).
I have probably told you a hundred times that I love your garden but that won't stop me from saying it again. I LOVE YOUR GARDEN!!!
Happy White Wednesday, Miss June!

Hi June, well well well...where to start?! You guys must have had a terrific time at the farm chicks market! I cannot wait to see what the iron fence(?) is going to be! I bet I will envy you more when it is at its place! I love love love all the tattered and tarnished stuff!
Ahh your garden! I love all the flowers. It seems to me that you have a very short spring over there or an early summer. I noticed that when I was in New Jersey too. Over here the tulips blossom and after that the bleeding hearts and so on. But I would like to see the abundance of flowers at your place. Thanks for having me over to visit you, I loved my stay here, as always. Hopefully this will be another sunny day to enjoy for you and your loved ones, thanks for your wishes to my daughter, hugs LiLi
