White Wednesday!

I am joining Kathleen at Faded Charm today for another White Wednesday.
Can you believe that this is number 89 for her????
Not for me however, because
it's been awhile since I have played along.
This week I went looking for whites in my home and studio that I hadn't already shown
here on my blog, and this is what I came up with.

My friend Suzan sent this pretty little gift a long time ago when we first met through blogging.
It came in a package crammed with beautiful things that she had made and that I have
shown here before.
I love the simplicity of it.

I have an inner battle going on constantly within myself over how I choose to decorate my spaces.

One of my personalities would love a home packed full of nic nacs...
and so many pictures and beautiful things hanging on the walls
that there would be no wall showing at all!

And then there is a part of me that needs a serene surrounding...
a calmness...
space to breath...

Having a studio apart from the house has satisfied a little of the struggle.
In the studio I cram as much visual stimulation into it as I can.

Having so much out and around me helps with the creative process.
It keeps my mind full of ideas and dreams of the next project.

I know I don't share a lot of the things I make here on my blog...and I am trying
to get braver about showing them off. In the future I hope to do a post or two
about the things I make for my home.

I'm not at all shy about sharing the great finds I unearth though,
like this beautiful old light fixture part I discovered on one of my hunts.

I have been making more of the collage tags that I showed earlier using the garment tags I save.

My husband thinks I am buying new clothes just to make the tags.

In truth,

I make the tags to lessen the guilt over buying so many new things for the closet!

(I say for the closet because my kids don't think I could possibly ever wear everything
that's in there) I don't get rid of anything))

Just a few of the thousand I'm working on.

I told you the closet was full!!!!!!

Hi June,
So happy to see a post from you. I just love coming here to visit and seeing what beautiful creation you have made. As usual, you have so many lovelies to show. I love your soft and romantic photos. The tags are beautiful and please keep showing us all the things that you create. We bloggers can never get enough.

Your photos are so, so lovely! They have sent my heart all a flutter! :) I know what you mean about keeping things around for inspiration. I have been collecting antiques and flea market goodies for a few years now and I think it's high time to start my storage prop studio in my basement - my plan for the summer.. as I like to change things up, decorate and redecorate quite a bit. ;))My favorite photo is the one with the rolled up paper.. such an interesting and soul calming shot! Enjoy the rest of the week!

Hi June Sweetie...
Oh what a beautiful share. I love these gorgeous tags that you have made. How elegant they are. I love the different textures most all. Love textures.

I really adored the white one with the lace and the hearts with buttons in the center. Then tied with string.

The tag that has the cloth rose on it? Did you make the rose you added to it? If so, do you have instructions? So sweet.

Thank you for taking me amongst the lace, linen, pearls and roses for a little stroll this morning. I have so enjoyed my visit here with you at Laughing With Angels sweet friend.

Many hugs and much love, Sherry

I always love visiting, June. You have some especially pretty whites today...I spent a little extra time staring at each lovely picture.

I don't have a studio but I would imagine that you wouldn't want everything tucked away, what would inspire you? And in a place you call your own, who do you have to tidy up for?!

Have a beautiful day, my friend!

I always get excited when I see your name up on my blog roll. Funny about what you said in your post, I am going through that same kind of situation. Oh I love to have my collections out, BUT I do not want to clear around, near or even dust them, enough with the clutter so I am trying to pair down and clean so I can put some behind glass and not worry anymore about cleaning, spring is around the corner and I just do not have time for cleaning.

Please share more of your creativeness, I love the peak at the tags, they are adorable and I have a feeling we are going to be dazzeled if you would show us more. Please oh pretty please!
Well I hope you have a wonderful week.

I love your tags, June, they're so pretty and different. And I love the lace piece it's gorgeous. I think the clutter won at my house. It's such a tiny little house that it's hard to be airy and simple, one thing comes in - another has to leave. I meant to give you credit on my blog about the roses but I did something wrong and just linked back to myself???!!! Diane

Hello dear June!

Finally I get around a bit more catching up on my blogging friends. I had a hard time keeping up with blogging since my mom got Chronical Leukemia last year but slowly we are all adjusting to the situation and gettig a bit normality back in life as far as this is possible.

Did I understand that right, that your studio has been shot for WWC too? If so I must say that you so deserve it. Your studio belonged to my 10 faves, along with Suzan's of course, from the last WWC party!

And I love your tags, they are very special and yes you should show more of your creations here on your blog!

Sending you warm Spring wishes from still freezing Northern Germany!

P.S. Can't wait to go back to gardening after this long and cold Winter and I'm sure so are you!
