This is how the garden looks as of today. The trees are done blooming except this Horse chestnut. I love the blooms on this tree. It blooms for quite along time and is right at the top of the drive for everyone to enjoy. When I was working in the garden today, I saw someone pull over and start taking pictures. Maybe this tree caught their eye. The beds are looking fuller now and a lot greener, thanks to all the rain we have been blessed with. There are a few things blooming now, but in about ten days there will be a riot of color in the beds. Because of all the rain, I haven't been able to get out and weed the beds like I would like to. Today I made up for lost time. I went out very early to work in it and quit about 4:30. It was a little chilly so Landon had to stay in the house. Which meant I had to go in every few minutes to check on him. He cannot be left alone for any length of time, so in that amount of time I still didn't get as much done as I could have had hubs been home to watch him. But any day in the garden is a good day.

Your garden is breathtaking!
Hi June,
Your garden is so pretty. I like the sense of enclosure you have with all the trees.
I see we have the same statue and I have the sensation lilac also. I also had a beautiful big snowball tree but a viburnum worm arrived and destroyed it.I grow organically and I was told there was nothing to use to get rid of the worm-have you had this problem?
I love the horse chestnut tree I have only seen white ones here.
I look forward to seeing your garden progress over the summer. My garden like yours is getting ready to burst into color.
Thank you for all your lovely comments-I enjoy our visits!
Take care,
Carolyn
Your garden is just beautiful. I just love snowball trees. I haven't picked one up for myself yet, but I hope to!
Our peonies are just ending their blooming cycle. I enjoy them so much too. I just recently saw a yellow peonies in someones garden. I don't have a yellow one, so the search begins.
Happy gardening!
The best thing about visiting in the Land of Blog is finding lovely gardens like yours! Very inspiring and BEAUTIFUL.
You have such a lovely garden!! I am so "in love" with my front yard garden that I wish I could just set my chair in the middle of it & live there!! ( I think the neighbors would think I was daft.. LOL!!)
My gardens are my breath.... One way to be close to God!! After all, life started in a garden!!
Love You!!

June,
I have goosebumps right now looking at the amazing beauty of your garden. What a serene and beautiful place it is. You have such a way with flowers:). We have had a lot of rain here too making not only our flowers grow but the weeds too! I spent almost two hours the other evening pulling weeds in one of the flower beds!
I look forward to seeing more of your garden in bloom!
Blessings,
Kim
Hi June!
Oh it's so wonderful to see the larger overview of your garden! I knew it would look like a Garden of Eden, so lush and green!! I could just spend hours wandering through it exploring every nook and cranny, and admiring and smelling every single flower!!
Thanks so much for this wonderful tour of your garden!!
Sherri:)
You have such a beautiful view to look out at. I enjoyed looking at all your beautiful flowers. In Tennessee the lilacs, iris' and peonies are gone and daylilies are now starting to bloom.

Hi June,
Of course, people took photos... Your view from the front door is breathtaking. I need big, big lessons from you. Even though you ran in to check on Landon quite frequently, you're right anytime being in that beauty effects the soul. Hope you're staying warm yourself too. I always enjoy visiting here, makes me want to make my little cottage nicer - thank you!

June, your garden is pure bliss! I would just love to roam about in it! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful world with us...
I agree that any day in the garden is a good one - and your garden is a beauty. You must be a bit ahead of us weather-wise, as everything is very lush-looking at your place.
It's gorgeous! I've been working outside on the flowers a lot lately, getting ready for the graduation party but hard rains have knocked the blooms off so many of them. Your yard is just stunning. Thanks for sharing it. And thank you for your kindness last week when I was falling apart. (hugs)
Blessings.. Polly
Just beautful, June! I especially love that lilac. I have never seen one like that! Is the snow ball a type of hydrangea? Thanks for sharing.
June,
Thanks so much for coming by. I just couldn't stop looking at all of your beautiful garden photos. I love many of the same things you do... I'm looking forward to more time playing in the dirt and taking pictures of the outcome!
JOY!
Hello June,
Thanks for visiting my blog today! You are so sweet! I just have to tell you how much I adore your garden! I love, love, love the arbor! I have an arbor that I have recently planted lilacs on each side & right now they look like twigs with a couple of leaves! Hopefully, they will grow and be half as beautiful as yours. It is so hot in Georgia so they might not make it! Anyway, take care and enjoy your lovely flowers!
Hugs,
Sherry
