White Wednesday...needing sleep...counting sheep.

I know I have been missing in action here on my blog of late.
I've been trying to get  few things done around the homestead this week. I know that soon
the house will not get a lot of attention from me, because I will soon be spending
every waking minute in the garden.
Speaking of waking minutes...I've been having quite a few of them lately.

So I think I will start counting these.

I found these sweet sheep last week at Joannes. I fell head over heels for them.

I don't know if I have ever told you all how much I love sheep.
I love
everything about them. I have even told my husband that I would love to have
a little band of sheep of my own someday. (at least a ewe or two, to have little lambs for me)
I don't think he's listening.

Yoo Hoo! What about those sheep honey?!!!

We remodeled the bedroom a few months ago, but I haven't done much in
the way of decorating yet. I did get the curtains made a couple of months ago.

The bed looks inviting, no?

Well, it seems lately,
that the minute I get in it, my brain goes into overdrive,
and I can't seem to shut it off.
I have so many garden plans going on in my head that I can't fall asleep at a decent hour.

I would really love to snuggle down into this bed and get some zzzz-s

Until I find a resolution to the garden building when I should be sleeping, I'm
thinking that
maybe these little guys can help.

One....Two...Three...

Today I am linking up with Kathleen at Faded Charm for her weekly White Wednesday.

I hope all of you are sleeping snug as a bug in a rug.

If not...maybe Joannes has more of these little cuties left...or,
maybe your husbands will be a little more receptive to the idea of a band of sheep
 than mine is.

Lovely post and photographs.
Your bedroom is beautiful and looks so calm and beautiful.
Sorry you are having trouble sleeping, have you tried a cup of sleepytime herbal tea, before bed?

Beautiful bedroom, YES!! Very NICE. I could sleep there, LOL. Nope, my hubby does not want sheep, I am very sure of that, well maybe those from Joanne's but not the live ones! I too excited about the garden but have been sleeping ~. I did some work redecorating, painting and such, about half done. I'll keep checkin' back with you, you just keep working away at home. When you find the sleep solution, please share. I'm averaging about 4 hours a night myself. Could it be Spring Fever?

we know it's not an age thing...it just couldn't be.... ;-)

Your sheep are adorable. Today on my way home from work I passed a field full of ewes and lambs and had to stop for a photo or two. I'd like a little fluffy flock too!

Hello June!

I can so relate, to your sheep obsession as well as to your lying awake because of garden plans running through your head.
Same here, it's such an exciting time in the garden isn't it? Everything is sprouting fresh and green I just love it. Actually I took tomorrow off work so I can work in in the garden instead. There is so much todo now and I bought a new beautiful WHITE rose arc at last weekends garden fair that needs to get adjusted. Did I tell you that it is warm and sunny here right now? I'm so excited lol

The sheeps are adorable. My sis has real sheeps and lambs in her garden so she never needs a lawn mower lol, well she lives at the countryside and has much more space than I. I'm looking forward to visit them on Easter Sunday.

I bought 2 cute German putz sheep just last week. One for me and one as a b-day gift for my mom's b-day this Saturday.

Wishing you a fabulous Spring time and some nights with enough sleep, maybe you could count sheep? ;-)

xoxo, Carola

I've made it clear to myself to and to my husband: I must, someday, have a few sheep and a few goats in order to feel I've lived a rich life. Lambs . . . one of the very best things in life, I must think.

Lovely as usual, June. I hope you can break through and get a good, solid night's sleep soon. I know how frustrating that can be. Sweet dreams!

Hi June, I am also working on my bedroom and wish it was looking like yours! I love the look you have chosen, so very peaceful and white on white. I love that look but can not do it! Every time I try I end up doing color because of all of my stuff!
Since I live with my sister and brother in law my room has most of my things in it so it gets a little cluttered. I love your look! I could spend a week there sleeping! Well my room will get done soon and you will see the difference. Love yours so much I just can not tell you!
Sorry about the sleep thing I had that a long time ago but now I sleep so hard I don't even dream, I love sleeping!
I can not wait to see your garden and all the wonderful pictures you will have for us. Since moving from my cottage my gardening days are over. We now have tropical and it is all taken care of by gardeners. I will live again through your garden! Yea!

Hi June,
Your bedroom seems to come right out of one of those fancy home decorating magazines! It is sooo beautiful, I love it! I have troubles sleeping well all my life. What I do is trying to concentrate on something silly like, my collections posts; what was in post 1 and in post 2 and in post 3...etc. You have to think but you cannot think of what you keeps you out of sleep. Hope this will help you as counting the sheep would if you bought several more, talking about collections!
Thank you June for coming by each and every day and for your lovely comments. I think you are right about the toy shops. I searched and searched on ebay but I didn't find the wooden shops neither in England nor in the States. In the States there are a few tin toy shops, one tiny one from Marx and another one from Wolverine. Toy heaven is Germany! If you need anything you can always find it there. Prices are sometimes sky high, but I'm a person that enjoys looking too.
I cannot wait to see your lovely garden blooming. Hope that everything goes according to your plan. Don't worry, just enjoy the season!

Oh Sweet June, Gosh this was exciting seeing some of your home space. Your bedroom is beautiful..... I love all your pieces you have in there. A touch of soft blue was a nice touch too, it kinda sets the room with all the pretty whites along with some pinks. Your sheep are adorable and it doesn't surprise me of you liking them so much.... sheep are usually gentle and it kinda reminds me of you, but on the other hand they can get rowdy, so what do I know. Well, I know one thing you'll be getting out there soon enough in your lovely garden and you'll be sleeping like a baby.
