Jingle Bells

As fast as time is flying,
Christmas will be here and gone before I can post
all of the photos I have been taking of my Christmas decorating.
Tonight I will post lots and lots of  photos of the living room.

I haven't brought the tree in yet so I will be sharing it and some
other vignettes I have done around the house
in another post.

As you can see,
I changed the mantle.
I have moved the paperwhites to the window sill as you will see.

I made this cedar wreath the other day to hang on the mirror.
I also made others to hang in the windows.
I needed something simple here and this was just what I wanted.

Paper doilies stamped with
BELIEVE.

I just had to bring out my mercury balls again this year.

More paperwhites and mercury balls.

A little reflection.

Reds in the cupboard.

Let me open the doors so you can see it a little better.

The nativity my daughter made in elementary school.

My iron garden angel in the dining room.

I know this was a lot of photos for one post so I am going to try and do little posts
during the holidays to share the rest of the Christmas in the house.

Many hugs from me!!!!

Hello dear June!
Oh I must say that I love your Christmas decor! The jingle bells garland, the silver cups and all the greenery. Your living room looks so beautiful, peaceful and Christmassy and I'm so in awe about all the natural light you have. Here it is mostly dark days. When I come home from work at 5.30 pm it feels like deep night already. Hopefully I'll have the chance to take some daylight pictures here too next week when I'm off work for the rest of the year.
Sending you very happy Holiday wishes from snowy Germany
xoxo~ Carola

Dear June,
your beautiful, and simple decorated home, gives me the most wonderful christmas feeling, with the whites, reds, and greens!! There are so many fantastic decorated places and corners, but the one I love most is your little green table, with the sweet paperwhites, and iron bowl, with mercury bowls inside, and the lovely green tiny wreaths hanging above- what a most gorgeous setting for the paperwhites,June.
Thankyou for beautiful inspiration-and hugs,Dorthe

Love your decorations June! A lot of greenery with the wreaths(thin as can be, so different and beautiful), the Paperwhites(mine are at exactly that stage as well now, some ready to bloom, others just starting to grow), little red accents, love it! Love the tiny pine trees with roots in the glass containers as well. Do you dig them up in your garden or somewhere in a forest?.... I recently planted a seed that fell out of a pine cone but nothing yet, wonder if it 'll work.... ;-)
Bye,
Marian

Well, of course I LOVE every single thing.
That is great that you kept your daughters nativity that she made.
I have saved some things like that from my kids as well.
That wreath with the angel wings on it was really awesome I thought.
I could go on and on and on and on....
Like Ann Marie said when I got to visit with her while in Utah...we just need to get in the car and do a road trip to your place.
I bet you got fudge and shortbread don't ya ???

June you are so amazingly talented with your ability to create beauty in your surroundings. I do believe you would have made even the stable beautiful that Jesus was born in.....of course it was beautiful in a different way because of HIM!

Oh and your photography. Bill bought me a beautiful camera for my birthday and I still have not been able to command and conquer the thing! I was so hoping to have figured it out so that my photos would be lovely like this.

The perfect present would be to come help decorate then take pictues!!!

Hi again, June. It all looked as pretty the second time as the first, but just wanted to thank you for your kind comments to me. I do have a lot of fun playing house and as I was catching up on your last post, unlike you who has reigned decorating in from what you did when the kids were small, I continue to go overboard. This is my first Christmas season blogging so I am seeing so many beautiful, calm and peaceful ways of decorating, and I am thinking I will try to do the same next year. What do you think the odds are?..Hope you are having a wonderful weekend..Judy

I'm so excited to see what you've done in your home this year, June. You are so creative...I don't know where to start. Love the candy canes stuck here and there...so fun. And your paperwhites are perfect on that table. Creative mantel too...I could rave on and on. Looking forward to more, especially since this year, our home won't be as decorated as usual. I'll enjoy yours vicariously.
Hugs right back to you!

Hello Sweet June
My original comment somehow never appeared so I am revisiting dear friend to tell you how in tune I am with all of your simple Christmas decorating here. I love the simplicity of the cedar garland and wreath, the paper doilies, the little bells and candles and the way you have arranged everything.
I so love how you have moved in your garden angel to share the goodness of the inside beauty.
To me it is about the homeliness, the gentleness and the natural feel of it all.
Sending you heaps of Christmas blessings June and hope every minute is precious with your lovely family.
Love and hugs from afar,
