Yes, I like lace!
oozy-goozy, frothy-frilly, drippy-dangly lace!
anything adorned with lace gets my attention
whether it's a doily, hankie, tablecloth, bedspread, curtain...
I think I've made my point
I LOVE LACE
piles of doilies from some shopping trips this summer
and paired with flowers fresh or dried makes it even better
I'm always adding to my collection and constantly on the look out for
beautiful pieces.
Summer fleas are perfect places to find them and I've been taking in a few.

I am not a lacy girl, but I L O V E all of your beautiful lacy linens. Every photo was prettier than the previous.
Oh, yes, I understand - completely. I have a couple of Rubbermaid boxes in the attic FULL of lace, and when I was in Belgium in September I brought home spools of lace from the Liege flea market. For a while I made Christmas ornaments and lovely little cushion covers for my mother and sisters, but I haven't done anything with lace for a while. Perhaps it's time to just go up and open the boxes and appreciate the lace!
And I love this post! I love each and everyone of my dollies my great grandmother made. You sure have the touch with displaying them! Hope your summer is going great! Mine is extremely busy! Take care girly girl friend! June
Gorgeous lace dear June, and yes it fits you. I love your photo's of the lace you have to show.
Have a wonderful week

So, So, SWEET June!
Oh June,
I ADORE lace ..... I have collected it for years and, some of the early lace that I bought has disintegrated so I'm always on the lookout for more !! I have Victorian lace cushions, doilies, runners, tablecloths, collars, tablecloths .... you name it, I've bought it !!!! Do you think that we had a previous life in Victorian times ?!!!!
Beautiful photographs of beautiful lace. XXXX
I'm a frilly girl too and just love all your lace items...I love collecting it myself and it is one of the most romantic things to have in your home. Pretty post.
Hugs, Lynnie
No one can present beautiful like you, June. The laces are gorgeous. I, too, love them but am sending about 300 pieces, maybe more, to auction next month. What a fabulous idea for the tablecloth ... now I'll be hunting one down. There is such beauty & elegance within your home decor ... such reflections of you. Sure wish you'd come back to FB, miss ya!
TY, we adore that loving little dumpling of ours. She is a delight that makes our hearts sing.
Hope Landon is doing well.

I love your lace and how you display it. Beautiful lace is hard to find in my neck of the woods.
Nothing wrong with being frilly, June! I just adore your lace treasures and how you've displayed them. The lace tablecloth over the bed is enchanting. And those lace pieces hung on the hooks with the ballerina ornament - simply YUMMY!
Sigh...you've brightened my Sunday evening.
xo, Susan
Your photos of lace are so beautifully romantic. On most of my windows are lace curtains and a favourite time of day is when the sunlight passes through them to create patterns on the furniture and walls.

Hi June,
It's been far to long in-between visits, and I am going to make up for that and visit more often.
I am loving your frill and laces that add the grace to your romantic feel.
Love your whites and the softness of all things romantic over here.
Thank you for your visit.
Keep inspiring us with your beauty.
Bisous

Your love of lace extends into your garden - many of the flowers you prefer have the same scalloped soft look of lace.
I was just recently thinking of adding lace to a couple of tops. It was a look that I used to love make and see that it's back in trend again.
oooooooh I love lace too! far more than I ever thought! Today I washed an antique piece and made a hole in it, could kick myself for that, but I sewed some on the hem of my fresh made linen drawstring pants (post coming) and wondered why every single pair of pants in the world are not edged with lace!?? Who doesn't like it? what an exquisite touch it makes, oh love swoon LOL. I have curtains in doorways, and linen tablecloth edged with crochet lace as my bedspread, another lace as shower curtain, they are everywhere in my home too and I cannot find them, I use alot in sewing, but these parts don't have much at all, must find some. Love your posts, and your Grace Gardens....thanks for that post too. blessings, lady
Every time I see lace, roses or pink peonies, I think of you, June ~ xo
we must be sisters at heart, I love lace, I love linen, I love caring for them washing them and lovingly pressing them...everything about it! Great finds June.

You got me where I sing June.I adore soaking and ironing old linens trimmed in tatting and lace. It is a love of mine and not a labor at all. I am soaking a chenille bedspread now and cannot wait to see it come out white from the OxyClean. Only you can take such photos as these. Pure lace loveliness. xo, Olive
Your flowers are beautiful as always and your lace is gorgeous. I don't think there is anything better than a hot summer day shopping for doilies, linens and lace. Have a great week.

Big hugs,

Truth be told, I've never been much of a lace girl until about a year ago. It all started with a simple set of napkins edged with lace. For some reason, I was smitten and ever since I've been looking for more napkins and table runners. I still lean toward the more simple of designs but I have a feeling that may change also in the future.
I loved this post so much. You have given me so many good idea's one how to use items that I have found. Oh and the tablecloth turned bedspread is AMAZING!
I love to find nice pieces of lace too-love your collection!
Your phlox is beautiful too.
Enjoy these summer days!
Carolyn
I just knew you'd love lace June!
Hugs to you darling,
Jane
This post really makes me smile, Jane!
I, too, LOVE lace! I don't care what it's attached to...tattered or torn, it comes home with me to be used in my cottage.
Your pieces are so lovely.
You can never have too many "piles" of lace...lol.
xo
Yum, yum, YUMMMMM! Lace stirs such lovely memories...baskets of crochet cottons, the flash of silver hooks glistening in the sunlight, with yards of twirls and whirls descending onto the floor from said hooks...ready and waiting to be placed ever so gently along the edges of snow white linens.
You have captured the past quite splendidly in your present time June. Bliss indeed!
Fondly,
Judy
Dear June,
your passion for lace is wonderful and so romantic! So wonderful things you own and uses them in very inspiring scene!
I send you greetings and hugs - Sylvia
Hello, my sweet friend. Yes, the lace is amazing and the flowers with them are magic.

I don't know how to down load pictures on this new lap top.
A perfect addiction...
One can certainly understand how lace through the centuries was coveted by both women and men.
With all the jewelry and medals that were among Queen Victoria's possessions it was her exquisite Honiton lace bridal veil she wore draped across her face into the afterlife.
Both her delight of its beauty and the devotion to the man she married in it allowed it to accompany her for all eternity...
Susan x
It shows more and more that you're just a very dreamy woman with a fragile heart. Just like lace is... And the pictures are again so lovely, with the beautiful decorations. I dream away....Thank you for your lovely comments at my blog!
