So-
the other day I realized I hadn't even sat in the gazebo this entire Summer.
So-
I decided to remedy that.
So-
I thought I would set up a little tablescape
and maybe even sit in it awhile.

I do admit that this felt good.
Just sitting in the breeze
eating cherries
and enjoying the garden views.
Here are a few I would like to share
with all of you.
with all of you.
Now for the giveaway win.
Coming to me across the Atlantic from Austria.
Coming to me across the Atlantic from Austria.
I have been visiting Traude's blog, Rostrose (translated Rose Rust)
for as long as I have had a blog myself.
I so enjoy reading about her life in her beautiful country.
I so enjoy reading about her life in her beautiful country.
Traude and I have become good friends and I
love reading her blog.
She travels to some amazing places.
Places I would never see if it weren't for her photos.
One thing I love about her is that she has the best sense of humor and
after reading her posts, I always leave with a smile.
(the little angel on the card she made is her own grandfather as a baby)
I had to unwrap several layers to get to the gift but it was so worth it.
Isn't this fabric pretty?
I think this will end up in one of my quilts and then whenever I see it I will
think of my sweet friend Traude!
I am really going to enjoy using my coasters with the lovely designs of
William Morris on them.
Thanks Traude, for your lovely letter and many gifts.
I'm sure glad that I was the lucky girl to win them!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those tablescape photos are some of the prettiest pictures I've ever seen. I love the colors (BIG fan of color here) and how soft and inviting it looks.
Kristin
You not only set a pretty table, relaxed and enjoyed the summer breeze, you took the most lovely pictures of it all! Gorgeous, they would make beautiful notecards! I enjoyed the pictures of your garden as well. I lost so many plants and flowers from the heat and drought, it lifts my spirits to see thriving, happy blooms!
Your friend sounds like a wonderful person and very creative! Funny how we can just "get" another blogger like we have known each other forever! I relish those friendships!
Hope you are enjoying summer as it winds down, June! :)
XO,
Jane
Dear June, your gazebo is lovely and I could surely sit there and read for a long time indeed. Your garden is splendid and mine is fading now. We did get 7 inches of rain and praise God for it. The sweet gift is lovely too. Have a terrific week, Olive
I had to "pin" some flower photos first, then come back to tell you how much I enjoy your flowers. Living down here in the drought, my flowers and shrubs were devastated this year. I'm like you in finding it hard to "relax" and enjoy the simple things. I always am thinking about what I need to do. I thought as I got older I would do better, OK, maybe just a little. thanks for sharing all the beauty with us! xo
Beautiful treasure, enjoy! I so love William Morris prints, yummy!
Your garden is full of beautiful summer blooms, what a wonderful treat.
Have a great day.
Always, Queenie
Dear June,
Your gazebo images are just beautiful and so inviting, sitting in the breeze amongst all your flowers.
Could think of nothing nicer.
Love the sweet gifts you got from Traude, and I also enjoy visiting her and she is a wonderful friend.
Great to travel vicariously along with her in all the amazing places she goes to.
Have a happy week
Hugs
Carolyn
Hi June, love your gazebo, garden views, and eating cherries (I snatched a handful!)... your Foxglove is just beautiful!... congratulations on your wins... so lovely, and I think that fabric will be beautiful in one of your quilts... I am like you, love to sit and relax, but soon I am up and at it again... I keep reminding myself to SLOW DOWN... it's hard isn't it?... xoxo Julie Marie
Oh June...such a lovely breath of fresh air to visit you! Your gazebo table setting is simply charming, and I know it was a blessing to sit out there for a little while and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you!!
Thanks so much for sharing!
And what a sweet giveaway! That heart is just delightful!
Hugs to you!
Becky
Dear June, always such a pleasure to visit your beautiful blog...it just gets me feeling happy to view all the beauty you create, so simply. I know exactly how you feel, we need to smell our roses more often!! The urns are so gorgeous, and beautifully planted.. this lovely post so captures the beauty of summer... N.xoxo
June, I just love it when you post!!! I love it when you share a tiny peek into your beautiful world...you make me want you visit, to sit, talk and enjoy the beauty around ~ thank you always for taking time to share your world with us!! I love you precious gift and I just know it will be transformed into something WONDERFUL!! Sending you hugs and love, Dawn
June- Your gazebo is beautiful...what a blessing that you were able to sit there and enjoy it-even if it were just for a short while. I, too, can't sit for long without jumping up to do something that I know needs to be done. I blame it on being raised on a farm where there was always something that needed tending to.
Your gift is beautiful. How wonderful to have a friend like that- xo Diana
Dear June, I know what you mean BUT I could easily be forced to sit in your gazebo for a very long time!
What a sweet gift, I will have to visit Traude's blog and read of her travels. If she is your good friend then she must be a special lady!
Love and blessings, Julie
June,
Your garden is breathtaking! I could sit and enjoy that forever!!! Congratulations on your beautiful giveaway win!
xx
Anne
Love the pictures, such beautiful colors. Since moving here I too have a sort of gazebo and am in the process of decorating it :)
Hugs from Marian (now living in Thailand :D)
June ~
I'm so envious! It looks like you're not suffering from the smoky skies like we are! (from all the fires) I may have to come visit you just to get away ~ and since your beautiful gazebo is so temptingly set...
Hugs ~
bobbie
What a wonderful gift! Your gift to me, each time I visit you, is your phenomenal photos. I'm laid up after ankle surgery and can't get outside, so your garden photos were just what I needed.
Brenda
I'm with you June unless it's the computer I think of so many things that need to be done.
Your table looks so pretty.
Love you blog header too June.
Have a great evening.
Debbie
Looks like you had a lovely time in the gazebo! And what a wonderful win of such pretty goodies! Hope you are enjoying the rest of your summer!
~Trisha
Beautiful, June! Now go back to your gazebo tomorrow and take a book. :)
Hi June! Your photos should be greeting cards or framed and hung in homes everywhere, they are beautiful! I haven't been sitting much lately either, and usually don't, until my body is ready for sleep! Congrats on you prizes, they are gorgeous! take care, t.xoxoxox
Love that you shared your garden with us again - that is always a treat.
The gift from your friend is so cute. The idea of making the card with the image of her Grandfather is adorable.
You need to plan a lunch with friends at the gazebo in the next few weeks. Then you will sit and enjoy the beauty around you, and forget about the 'other things' that plague your thoughts.
Beautiful post June. I've never seen lilies like those and your beebalm is gorgeous. I'm glad you found some time to sit in your gazebo - summer flies so fast you must enjoy these things too. Diane
Girl, you could be reciting a nursery rhyme and I would still be following along looking at your gorgeous pictures! I don't know how you do it, but I love looking at them....Now, you just have to find the time to sit a long while in your gazebo and gorgeous garden!
Carol
omg your pictures are stunning. How simple is that arrangement, a white rusty urn with pink flowers and yet it is beyond description?? your garden is amazing, and I'm getting to a desperate point here in hot florida where we cannot grow flowers like that.....and I want to see them so much! somehow I must have a flower garden! :D blessings, lady
Hi dear June,
so wonderful garden pictures, really dream,I enjoy!
The gift is so cute:)
Many hugs,
Nely
Such a pretty garden. I am hoping to get mine like that someday. I too am a do-er and can never sit still for long. I do try though. Sometimes I think it is a curse. Lovely fabric from your friend. Here's to trying to sit for longer periods of time.
@ 3Beeze Homestead
Hello dear June, Your garden views are totally gorgeous and the way you've decorated your table is so sweet and cheerful. It's always such a joy to visit you.
Traude is a sweetheart, isn't she? Congratulations on winning her lovely giveaway!
Have a wonderful Wednesday :-)!

ohhhhh.....just so so pretty.....always love pics from your garden.......
Hello my dearest!
I would love to sit there with you but alas, you are so far away and I couldn't sit still long enough either! Always so much to do.
Love the garden views of course, always so tranquil to stop by here my friend and soak up some serenity!
You are such a blessing to me...I hope you know this!
Much love and huge hugs!
Donna
Congratulations on your lovely win - how beautifully it was wrapped and presented! Love photos of your beautiful gardens and gazebo, my friend.
xo

June loved coming for a few moments to enjoy your lovely gazebo. I am so like you about not being able to sit long and not think about all the other projects to do next. Here we work so hard making a home and garden beautiful so we can enjoy it and then don't take the time to do so, though I think alot of the joy, for me, is the creating part. My hubby keeps reminding me that there is nothing wrong with resting though and I need to try and do more of it.
Oh your gardens are always so lovely- I do wish mine looked more romantic and lovely as yours.

Good morning, beautiful June!
Oh dearest, summer is way too short to enjoy our spaces, isn't it? We had a marvelous covered deck added to our home and have hardly used it! Next year we hope to screen it in and THEN I KNOW we will be living out there more!
Like always, your photos are stunning and make me want to live in an endless summer of joy. Be well! Anita
Beautiful post! Thank you. I am just like you. I cannot sit and just be. I am going to keep trying though.
I am going to visit your friends blog. It sounds lovely.
Have a wonderful day!
Terry
I enjoyed your garden views so much! That is a lovely bouquet in your urn. Glad you got a minute to enjoy your gazebo!
Hi June,
I so enjoyed my relaxing visit to your gazebo. Viewing the garden was delightful, especially while nibbling on those sweet cherries. A perfect afternoon, made all the more pleasant with a peek of your Austrian gift. How wonderful to receive international packages, especially with William Morris designs included. I have always admired those. Have a wonderful remainder of the week.
Maureen
We won't even talk about how alike we are with the sitting. Even as a little kid my Mom would say, "you are not a very good sitter". Meaning I don't sit and enjoy near like I should. The second I sit the brain kicks in and I think of a million things I should be doing. Oh and cherries are my favorite. I have ate a ton of them this year.
Take care dear friend!
The other June
June I'm glad to hear that you took some time to sit out in your gazebo. The summer months just go by to darn fast don't they? I'm sure your going to enjoy your new coasters. Have a nice week.
Isn't blogging so fun -- to meet such amazing people from all over the world? I love it.
I have must see countries mapped out -- of where I should go --just to meet blog friends. lol!
I want to sit in your beautiful gazebo too. -- But I am the same way.. and I would be up and on to the next thing rather than relaxing... ♥
Oh June your garden is breathtaking. I think if in that gazebo I would have a hard time getting up:) but at home I can't sit long either. I set a garden bench in a new place and soon got up when I saw a weed. It was taunting me:)
George bought Rainier cherries to sell but I ate most of them probably 10 lbs. I kept thinking of that lady in Witches of Eastwick...well you know.
Yes Traude is a doll ....gosh I haven't been a good blog friend and need to go visit her.
hugs
Carole
Love your garden - it gets an A+!
Were those double stargazer lilies in your garden!!?? It's BEEEAUUTIFUL there. I'm glad you took a moment to sit and enjoy... i am the same way, it is so hard to sit still without thinking, i need to pull up that weed, or cut back that branch, or sweep the patio! Good grief, you'd think we could just stop and enjoy it for 5 minutes! Your gift from Traude is so sweet and pretty. The fabric would be delightful in a quilt, i know you do something really special with it!
Cindy
What a lovely giveaway win, I'm sure you will put the things to good use! And I'm like you, if I try to sit for too long I begin to think of all of the things I "should" be doing. Though I have to say that if I had a gazebo and garden as lovely as yours, I might just be able to sit there for a very long time!
Kat
Very beautiful !!!
Unas imagenes de ensueño!!
Que preciosidad!!
Saludos!!

Lovely urn of flowers. Glad to hear you were able to sit down for a few minutes. Your garden looks wonderful. I wish I could say the same for mine. With little to no raid, nights filled with baseball and work, I did not keep up with the watering. I am hoping the new plants planted this year will make it to next. I am definitely anticipating fall, looking forward to the cool days.
I am the same as you, I do not sit still unless I am reading a book or at the computer. So I have been trying to do less of that and more painting, swimming and working on the house. I wish I could say my next week of vacation will be for relaxing, but I am not much of a kidder, it will be more working on the house with a day squeezed in for the beach, zoo and a parade or two. Have a wonderful weekend.
What a beautiful setting! I love the urn filled with flowers...my goodness, how pretty that is. I'm not one much for sitting either. If I had a view as wonderful as yours though, I may rethink that...or I would just bring the computer outdoors and enjoy two things at once. Happy weekend to you!
June, I am lovin' that arrangement and your tablescape! After looking at the pics of your flowers, it is obvious that the grass doesn't grow under your feet. I'm like you, I just feel guilty if I am sitting down and not moving. It is really hard, because of this, to sit at a computer for long, too.
Love your garden and home!
xxo

I am so happy I found your blog! What beauty you share. I was visiting Beehive Cottage and loved the picture of your Sister Gathering. I will be back for more. Thanks for spreading goodness and sunshine. Karie
Hi, I'm over from Mary Janes. Your garden is beautiful. I can't wait to take my time and scroll back further, What a pretty gift from your friend.
Hi June,
Your gazebo is lovely and your gardens stunning. The lilies are the most beautiful I have ever seen. What variety are they? My lilies were killed this year with the early warm weather then the frost. Oh how I miss them.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Kelley
"Sitting in the breeze eating cherries and enjoying the garden views" sounds great, dearest June! Especially when it is a DREAM-Garden like yours!!! I love each of your photos!!!

Oh you sweet, and I got goose bumps when I read your so kind words that you have written about me and about the winning package. I am sooo glad that it has arrived safely in your hands and that you like it! :o))

I wish you all the best and a lot of sunny time that you can spend in your wonderful garden.

Glad you took some time out to play June...I enjoyed the view too!
Loved your garden pics but I really like those cute bowl covers on the table! CUTE and in my colors! ♥
Hello June !
It's a blogpost like a fairytale - wonderful colors and a charming garden.
... and now a new beautiful blog for my bloglist.
Have a wonderful day,
Eva
Beautiful as always June!
Martha xoxo
Dear June,
Well, I think that you should be sitting in your Gazebo for a LONG time eating lots of cherries.....and, strawberries and raspberries !! It is so pretty and a wonderful place to sit and gaze at the beauty that is your garden where you work so hard to make it so stunning. It is always a pleasure to have a 'look' around your garden and see the profusion of roses and delightful cottage garden flowers. I can always take something from your photographs to put in my own garden which, apart from giving each other cuttings which isn't really possible, is the next best thing !
Thanks so much for your lovely comment, as always, and apologies for being a little late for this post. I'm still getting used to this new computer !!
Enjoy your garden June and try and spend even more time in it !! Much love. XXXX
Hello Dear June
I've been trying to get here for ages and now here I am!
Shame on you for letting nearly the whole Summer go by and not be sitting in your gorgeous gazebo but I completely understand.
I wish I could see your Summer garden in real life - I can see from the images - the lillies, the foxgloves, bergamot, echinacea etc etc. a profusion of colour and fragrance only to be appreciated by being there. I would be so in love with it all I just know.
It feels so like my own here where everything is getting ready to burst into Spring and the birds are now telling us each morning that it is almost here!
Just love your gorgeous gift from Traude and I loved visiting her blog also.
Can you feel the approach of Autumn yet?
Loving blessings and sweet rose hugs to you,
Suzy
Darling June this garden's corner is breathtating!! I adore that foxgloves!! A real joy for the soul =)
Hugs
Silvia
Hi June just catching up with your garden!! Gorgeous as always just STUNNING!!! I loved the fact that we could picture you sitting there eating cherries. I love cherries, had some myself only yesterday ;))
Isn't your friend lovely, those coasters are so pretty and the fabric, no doubt you will be busy on the sewing machine double quick. Her grand-dad was such an adorable little boy, how clever of her to make him an angel.
Been a little better recently, even been to the local shops for a coffee!
Big hugs from me to you xOxO
Jane
Hi dear June. What a beautiful gift you got. Lovely fabric and little things.
I just returned from a wonderful cruise and visited beautiful cities in Europe like Hamburg, Kopenhagen,Oslo, Honfleur in France and Dover in England. I made hundreds of photo's and I will surely post some on my blog in the coming weeks.
Have a great day my friend.
June, Saw you featured in Artful Blogging and had to check out your blog. What a lovely, lovely spot you have and I so enjoyed my visit.
We have some dear neighbors with a 10 year old daughter with Angel Man Syndrome and I've never heard of another or known of another. And, yes, she is a happy child with a smile to melt your heart.
Blessings to you!
Your tablescape is beautiful but, your flowers are breath taking!!! Everything here is struggling from the heat so thank you for sharing yours...
I LOVE that little angel on the package. The one that is your friends Grandfather... so adorable. Have a beautiful week. HUGS!
Charlene
Today I really needed a postive boost and you provided it for me, thank you so much, June.
Your lovely post, a pretty table accompanied by lots of beautiful pictures... I enjoyed all of it!
For weeks I didn't hear my heart sing... now it is filled again with the little joys of life.
Love,
B.
how utterly beautiful!!
All so pretty, how i love your roses. They cheered me up as my cat is very poorly and making me feel worried. So thank you. X
Bonjour June!!
What an elegant and pretty bouquet in the medicis vase. ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿
WOW! Absolutely stunning photos!!
I'm following for sure;o)
Helene
First of all....congratulations on your win, it's so pretty!
and speaking of pretty...if I had a place to escape to that looked as pleasant as your setting.....I'd definitely sit and stay a long while. I'd bring out a stack of magazines, a good novel and some crochet threads and a hook......or embroidery...or my art journal....and wouldn't a cup of coffee fit right in perfectly too!
I would enjoy my time out in the garden..with such a pretty bouquet of flowers set before me...and 'claim' to be working!....that's the beauty of Etsy, I suppose....I can do what I love and it's actually work! now..if only I can transform my backyard setting into as picturesque a setting as yours! Sigh!
thanks for sharing...I say, get out there and SIT for a longer time and let everything go.

your photos are stunning by the way! i really enjoyed your post.
Hello my friend, I love you table scape. I wish I could have been there with you, we would have visited for a long time. I love to talk. Your special gift was wonderful, what a beautiful piece of fabric. I just moved into my new "Fall Cottage", and my Hubby just bought me a new computer. I've got my camera so I can't wait to begin showing things on my blog.

Hi June: I haven't been able to catch up very well this summer and I realized that you were one that I haven't visited for awhile so here I am. I haven't sat in the gazebo either but since we finally got the front porch in shape (now that summer's almost over) we are sitting there in the evenings. Your little snack of cherries and the other feasts for the eyes must be very rewarding. Love your foxgloves. What a lovely gift you received from your friend. I have a lot of blogging friends in Europe, so I think I will visit Traude also..Happy Tuesday..Judy
Such a beautiful gazebo...and garden! Love your urns...stunning!
Sweet giveaway!
Hello, June!
Just popped over from Maryjane's blog--can't believe I've not met you before!
What a beautiful place you have here--I so enjoyed visiting your lovely gazebo & peaceful garden...
Think I'll have to go take a few minutes out in my own today--thanks for the inspiration!
I'm your newest follower...
Julie
your photos are lovely as always! I love those fabric bowl covers with the tiny ball fringe! so sweet!
Dear June, I think you would have to pull me away from that beautiful gazebo at the end of the day. When I go to the States in the summer, I can't stand to sit inside -- even if it is 90 degrees out. I just love being in the great outdoors as often as possible. Congrats on winning Traude's lovely giveaway. She is the sweetest! I won a collage from her some time back and have it hanging in my bedroom so I am reminded of her every time I see it. We checked out prices for a trip to Austria but it turned out to be much more expensive than going too Germany -- so we went to Koblenz -- but I told hubby we will definitely get to Austria one day so I can visit Traude in person. :) Hope you are having a wonderful week. Tammy
Oh June, such a lovely, gentle respite from the everyday world! Thank you for sharing your beautiful surroundings. You are truly blessed indeed.
Congratulations on your special giveaway win! I feel certain that you shall cherish such treasures from far, far away.
Wishing you much joy...
Warm hugs,
Judy x
Ciao il tuo blog è bellissimo come il giardino brava a presto lu.
Hi June: I commented on this post earlier, but I just caught up with Grace Gardens and couldn't let it go by without leaving a little note to tell you how pretty everything is. I have what is called Summer Phlox, a very old-fashioned strain of phlox but it is not nearly as pretty as yours. It is much sparser in it's make up. Pretty but not as pretty as your..Happy Monday..Judy
oohh what a lovely place to sit. I like you am not good at sitting and doing nothing, maybe take a book, magazine or craft project into your lovely gazebo next time so you stay there longer :-) x
Always love stopping by to see your wonderful photos.
It seems to always center me. I love visiting. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs, Jody
Hello June
So nice to drop by and join you in the gazebo... your view of the garden is grand, every bit of it a vision. I am learning to sit... I am learning what to be still and know I am God, is. It is very hard for me to not be doing... I like to be productive. So I know what you are saying.
Blessings today sweet lady
Rebecca
Everything looks so beautiful!:)

June you know I always enjoy seeing your lovely flowers! You are the queen of gardens!
I've missed visiting with you! I've been so busy this summer I just don't have any time to blog! I'm gonna fix that though, hopefully back to blogging on a regular basis!

I know, I know. I am so far behind this summer with everyone, but the cooler temps are coming. Business has been really great, also keeping us busy.
What a lovely gift you received from your friend. I love the card with her g'pa on it. Very creative lady.
Your gardens show beautifully. And that table I can see sitting & chatting with you forever, so you'd have to stay still a wee bit. How serene your spot is. It has been too hot all summer to enjoy sitting out at all ... boo-hoo!
Hope you all are doing well. Miss & love you!
